Instrument index, instrument datasheets, I/O lists, loop diagrams, hook-up drawings, cable schedules and control-system documentation.
Instrumentation and control engineering connects the process design to the system that runs the plant. CoreFlow develops the instrument index, datasheets, I/O lists, loop and wiring diagrams, hook-up drawings, cable schedules and control-system documentation from approved P&IDs and process data.
We coordinate interfaces with process (set points, alarms and trips), piping (process connections and control valve installation), electrical (power supply and cable routes) and the DCS or PLC system integrator, so the field installation and the control system configuration match.
Deliverables follow the project specification and the codes it names. Codes commonly applied include:
The master list of every tagged instrument, with its service, type, range, location and document references. Datasheets, I/O lists, loop diagrams and cable schedules are all developed from it.
A loop diagram shows the signal path from the field instrument through junction boxes and marshalling to the control-system I/O. A hook-up drawing shows the physical installation at the process connection, including tubing, valves, manifolds, mounting and the material list.
Our scope is the engineering documentation the system integrator configures from: I/O lists, control-system architecture, cause-and-effect diagrams, interlock and alarm schedules and control narratives.
Yes. Control valve and on-off valve datasheets are prepared from process data and coordinated with piping for installation.
